Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fastly becoming a part of all our lives, yet the number of people who understand AI as a technology is limited.
To address this growing skills gap, TA Education is supporting Intel to work with UK Primary, Secondary and FE institutions to investigate the opportunities to include AI in the curriculum.
Participating educators and institutions are given exclusive access to the AI for Youth curriculum containing over 100 hours of curriculum-aligned learning content. This also includes free ongoing support from TA educators to help you embed AI into your lessons.
Check out the programmes below for students aged 9-16, including competitions where your institution can win new technology to support STEM activities in your institution.
The UK Early Innovator Programme is for schools and colleges who are enthusiastic about embedding and exploring the opportunities for AI in the UK curriculum.
They will be some of the first institutions nationally to engage with the programme and have the opportunity to provide vital feedback to help guide the future programme impact. Institutions joining the Early Innovator Programme will be committing to running a minimum of 7 hours of AI activities with students within their institution, and providing feedback to Intel (via Tablet Academy) as to the appropriateness and effectiveness of the resources.

Are you interested in teaching your students the history, development, and modern-day applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), but don’t have the time to plan and deliver a rewarding and challenging session?
We can help!
Our team of STEAM trainers are currently building a UK curriculum-aligned enrichment day that gives your students a chance to experience a variety of different activities relevant to modern applications of AI.
Built using content from the Intel® AI For Youth programme, the enrichment will cover topics such as “Machine learning”, “Natural Language Processing”, “Neural networking”, “Computer Vision”, “Robotics” and “Fuzzy Logic”, giving your students an engaging and exciting entry point to the world of AI.
The Intel® AI For Youth Enrichment Day will be available from January 17th 2022.
