Tablet Academy have partnered with Google to offer a range of free online workshops designed to promote and develop digital skills and employability.
The sessions are designed to introduce students and teachers to Google’s applied digital skills curriculum through a remote but hands on experience, and leave students with the information they need to explore further.
The programme is free and project based, allowing teachers and key workers to support their students to learn valuable digital skills all in one easy platform. All lessons are accompanied by a series of engaging videos with clear instructions and ready to use templates.
This workshop takes place over a full day and consists on 5 one hour sessions, each session will include 20-30 different students. Our Tablet Academy facilitator will introduce the platform to the teacher and students and demonstrate how to get started. Our facilitator will also supervise and support students through their first project.
This workshop is a 90 minute session with 20-30 teachers, giving them an overview of the platform, guidance on how to use it and experience on delivering some of the lessons. The workshop could consist of teachers from the same school or college, or from different organisations.
