Did you join Ian Vosser from TA Scotland this week for the first session of Scotland’s Learn with Google Programme? Week 1 focussed on how you can get organised and connected using Gmail, Calendar and Drive. Ian also touched on how the Google tools can help you to build your personal learning network.
Coming up next week
Next week, you’ll learn how collaboration and creativity are essential to digital learning success. And the week after, how to personalise your resources and assignments in Classroom.
It’s about more than becoming certified
This isn’t just a certification programme. We’ve named it ‘Scotland’s Learn with Google Programme’ because we want to teach you how to use the tools so they actually benefit your use of digital technologies in the classroom. We don’t just want to teach you how to pass an exam. But sure, by signing up to the programme you’ll be granted access to our carefully curated exam resources including checklists and practical activities to get you prepared.
Whether you’re already pretty good at using digital technologies in the classroom and just want to back it up with a certification, or you’re at the start of your digital transformation journey looking to discover how technology can change the way you teach, the certification programme is for you.
What happens if I miss a live session?
Remember, if you’ve missed the live lessons, that’s okay! You can catch up on demand and still have full access to our support hub. We had lots of fantastic feedback regarding the first cohort for Scotland’s Learn with Google Programme, and we know that you will enjoy taking part and becoming Google for Education Certified Educators. Everything is fully-funded, and the only thing you’ll need is a Gmail account to join!
